Mr. Joe Olivo, the chef for the Child Development Center, commissioned this cake from me for his daughter Cindy's birthday with a Mardi Gras theme. He is a true New Orleans native and a FANTASTIC chef, even used to cook for an admiral! So to tell you the truth I was rather nervous. The cake is homemade red velvet with cream cheese filling and vanilla buttercream icing and decorations. Hope you all like it!
